Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This statement (German: Barrierefreiheitserklärung) explains how accessible the site is and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at levelAA — the recognised international standard for accessible websites. We build and review the site with that standard in mind.

Known limitations

We believe the site meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. A couple of things to keep in mind:

All images currently used have a text alternative, and the site presently contains no embedded videos, maps or PDF documents. Material of that kind added after launch can fall short; we check new content against the standard as it is built, and fix what we find.
If you hit a barrier we haven't caught, please tell us (below) — we treat it as a bug to fix.
